CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The seemingly never-ending tussle with Mother Nature this week has found itself back with the Charlotte women's tennis program, as it has forced another postponement of a scheduled match for the 49ers.
The Niners and East Carolina were slated to clash at 1:30 p.m. Saturday but due to weather concerns, the contest has been pushed back. Charlotte will now play host to the Pirates at 2 p.m. Monday at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
After a midweek postponement of a road trip to USC Upstate, Monday's tilt is scheduled to be the cap of a four-match homestand for the 49ers who have also played host to Massachusetts, UAB and Coastal Carolina in the last two weeks.
