CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time this year, Charlotte volleyball hits the Conference USA road traveling to FIU and Florida Atlantic for a pair of league matches this weekend. Friday's opener at FIU begins at 7:00 p.m. with the Sunday matinee at Florida Atlantic beginning at noon.
TAKING THE WIN OUT OF WINTHROP
Charlotte (11-8, 1-2 C-USA) continued to defend their home court on Tuesday night scoring a 3-2 victory over Winthrop to snap the Eagles nine-match win streak. The 49ers evened the match in set two 25-21, took the advantage 25-19 in the third and rolled to a 15-10 win in the fifth.
