BOCA RATON, Fla. – Charlotte volleyball clinched one of the eight spots for the upcoming C-USA conference tournament after a second-straight 3-1 (25-17, 25-16, 22-25, 26-24) victory at Florida Atlantic on Monday afternoon.
"We are so proud of this team and the response to another big challenge on the road," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "Florida Atlantic is a well-coached group and made some well calculated adjustments to challenge our offense today. We responded with discipline and tenacity to pull out a big win. Our blocking system has elevated and we're balancing that with a great offensive execution.
