CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Head Coach Karen Weatherington has announced the addition of Lara Kretschmer to the roster for 2020.
"Lara is an exceptionally experienced middle blocker that will impact our program from the first day she arrives on campus," stated Weatherington. "I expect her to have a great career and continue the tradition of stellar middle blockers on our team."
KRETSCHMER'S BACKGROUND
Kretschmer comes to Charlotte by way of Berlin, Germany earning a first place finish in the North Federal Cup in 2015. Kretschmer's experience includes three AAU International Championships in Orlando, multiple state and regional titles, third place in the U18 National Championship and first place honors in the U20 division in 2018.
