IRVING, Texas - Following another event-winning performance at the 2017 Charlotte Invitational this past weekend, Conference USA has awarded sophomore thrower Stevan Veselinovic the title of C-USA Male Field Athlete of the Week.
The Belgrade, Serbia native faced some stiff competition in the Charlotte Track & Field team's second and final home meet of the season, but he still topped the field of 22 in the men's hammer throw. His throw of 67.98 meters (223'0") was just shy of his personal and school record mark of 68.22 meters, but it was still better than every other mark in the conference and ranked 14th in the nation this season.
