CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the fourth-consecutive week, the Charlotte volleyball program has another Player of the Week honoree as Janell Sparks takes home this week's offensive honor. Including Sparks, this becomes the fifth player to win a weekly award.
The senior put together the best week of her career, earning MVP honors at the George Mason Classic, as the 49ers extended their school-record win streak to 10. In the crosstown rivalry win vs. Davidson on Tuesday, Sparks smashed her career high in kills posting 20 with five digs and four blocks in the five-set thriller.
