VB's Coach Julaton Becomes Two-Time Hall of Famer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball assistant coach Verna Julaton recently became a two-time inductee into Metro State University's Athletic Hall of Fame in Denver. Julaton initially joined as a player and was recently honored again as part of the 1993 team where she was also an assistant coach.

Julaton was first inducted in 1998 as a member of the 1987 and 1988 teams at Metro State. As a senior in 1988, Julaton handed out 1,757 assists as a setter, marking the third-most in a single season. This after a 946 assist junior year to total 2,703 in just two seasons, which is still ninth all-time.
