BUFFALO, N.Y. – Charlotte volleyball notched their fifth-straight victory on Saturday morning picking up their third-consecutive sweep in a 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-14) victory over Canisius. The win puts the Niners in prime position to win the Canisius Invitational with one match remaining vs. Bucknell at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. The sweep also runs the 49ers unbeaten set streak to 11 entering the weekend finale.
Charlotte (8-3) put up another fast start on Saturday morning racing out to a 10-3 lead beginning with a pair of Tatyana Thomas kills and the first block of the day by Sydney Rowan.
