BOONE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball picked up their fourth-straight win sweeping App. State (25-16, 25-15, 25-23) on Friday night in Boone. The victory is the third via sweep during the win streak and second-straight over an in-state rival.

Charlotte (6-2) immediately put the Mountaineers on notice with a 7-1 start beginning with a kill and ending with a / block after an early App. State timeout. Rowan has a solo block, Lyde/McArthur teamed up for another while served up an ace during the stretch. A 6-0 slide the advantage to 14-6 with kills from Lyde, Rowan, Foster and along with an ace and Clayton block with Kretschmer.
