CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers volleyball team will play in their final weekend tournament traveling up to Wake Forest for the Black and Gold Invitational on Friday. All matches will be played at the Summit School in Winston-Salem due to renovations inside Wake's Reynolds Gym. Charlotte will play High Point at 4:30 p.m. Friday before tangling with Wofford (10:30 a.m.) and host Wake Forest (7:30 p.m.) on Saturday.
"We're road warriors and play well on the road," remarked Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "Our ball control and defense has us in the national rankings.
