RUSTON, La. – Powered by hitting sets of .310, .485 and .452, the Charlotte volleyball team powered their way to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-20) at Louisiana Tech on Friday night. Six different players hit over .375 as the team now has a chance to clinch the first C-USA tournament berth since 2014 on Sunday afternoon. Yumi Garcia also inched closer to becoming Charlotte's all-time digs leader in a single season with 16 in the win.
Charlotte (18-9, 5-6 C-USA) saw Tatyana Thomas break an 11-11 tie with her second-straight kill giving the Niners a lead for good.
