CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball peaked at the right time on Friday night taking care of rival Marshall 3-1 (25-27, 25-15, 25-15, 27-25) in the regular season finale inside Halton Arena. The 49ers will now look to carry the momentum into next Friday's Conference USA tournament opener against Rice.
"It's always nice to end up with a victory in this rivalry," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "It was a great night for our seniors. I was really proud of our outsides. It's just a testament to what the offense needs to be doing this time of year.
