CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers will recognize three seniors in the final home volleyball match of 2016 on Thursday night hosting UTSA before officially wrapping up the season at Florida Atlantic on Saturday afternoon.
Charlotte (7-21, 1-11) will honor seniors Anna Henderson, Shelby Green and Morgan Barker prior to Thursday's match with UTSA before taking on the Roadrunners live on BeIN Sports Connect. The 49ers put a serious scare into visiting Marshall on Sunday dropping the first two sets before forcing a fifth and deciding set.
Janell Sparks led the charge on Sunday with 16 kills while Jocelyn Stoner tied a career high with 12.
