Charlotte volleyball begins a weekly installment of getting to know your 49ers. We all know what these ladies can do on the court, now it's time to learn more about them off of it. Our first feature is with our libero Yumi Garcia.
Garcia, entering her final season, hails from Cerejeiras, Brazil and has personally re-written the record books here at Charlotte. Garcia has been named Conference USA's Libero of the Year in each of the past two seasons breaking the single season digs record in BOTH years. Her 617 two years ago broke a nine-year-old record, but that wasn't enough for her.
