VB Falls in Three at FAU

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball ended their south Florida weekend with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-23) setback at Florida Atlantic on Sunday afternoon. Charlotte drops their season record to 11-10 overall, 1-4 now in C-USA play. FAU improves to 9-7, 3-2.

HOW IT PLAYED OUT
Charlotte had a 21-18 lead in the first, but a four-point run put FAU on top until an Annika Wetterstrom ace made it 23-22 Niners. The hosts followed with the next three points to steal the set 25-23. After nothing seemed to go right in the second, the Niners again carried a late lead at 23-21 with back-to-back kills from Sydney Rowan, but a Charlotte timeout couldn't slow the final four-point dash by FAU who again stole the third 25-23 to sweep the match.
