CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball capped off their best Conference USA weekend of the year sweeping UAB 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-22) on Sunday afternoon. The Blazers, who beat WKU in four on Friday, were doused by a Niners defense that limited them to a .094 hitting afternoon. With the victory, Head Coach Karen Weatherington recorded her 150th career victory.
"What an amazing weekend," exclaimed Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "We've been training to play the game in little compartments and they came through executing today. We did a great job today, especially with them coming off the high of their upset Friday.
