CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball opened up the home portion of Conference USA action with a 3-0 (25-19, 29-27, 25-18) loss to visiting UAB on Friday night. The 49ers drop their sixth-straight overall match and will look to put an end to a 10-set streak on Sunday afternoon.
"That was rough," commented Head Coach . "We still have pieces of the puzzle missing and it's tough when you're not at full strength to come out and produce. I was really happy with the fight we showed in the second set. We've got players learning on the job, but it is always disappointing to lose.
