DALLAS - For the second year in a row, junior catcher Bailey Vannoy has been named to the Conference USA Preseason All-Conference Team. The 49ers were also picked to finish third in the East Division with one first-place vote.
Vannoy filled up the stat sheets last season, which got her national recognition in the process. She is the first Charlotte 49er to be put on USA Softball's Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List and she also received Preseason Third-Team All-American honors from Justin's World of Softball.
In 27 games last season, Vannoy hit 12 home runs and totaled 36 RBIs in the process, while putting up a 1.
