BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Bailey Vannoy broke the individual doubles record after knocking her 22nd double on the season to help power the Charlotte 49ers (31-17) over the Marshall Thundering Herd (20-13), 8-4, in the Niner's first Conference USA tournament win since 2017 and third tournament win overall.
The 49ers collected an impressive 17 hits in the game, with Vannoy, Spenser Gray and Lindsey Walljasper all having three-hits apiece. Vannoy was 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored, Gray was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Walljasper was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and RBI.
