CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will look to continue to build upon its early-season success as it hits the road for two matches this weekend in West Virginia. The 49ers open the slate at 1 p.m. Saturday in a neutral-site contest against James Madison before taking on Conference USA foe Marshall at 11 a.m. Sunday. Both matches will take place in Huntington on the Thundering Herd's campus.
"These will be two tough matches against good teams," head coach Anthony Davison said. "We have to keep our aggressive doubles going because it has been standout for us so far and that point could be vital.
