The Charlotte 49ers, who will play in their second season in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) this fall as a member of Conference USA, have announced the scheduling of a pair of series against Big Ten opponents and the completion of their 2019 non-conference slate.
Charlotte will play a home-and-home series with Maryland in 2022 and 2023. The 49ers will also play road games at Indiana in those same seasons. The contests against those Big Ten schools give the 49ers at least one power five conference opponent in each of the next 10 seasons with three such games scheduled at home.
