CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three members of the Charlotte 49ers men's golf team makes up the five named to Conference USA's All-Freshman team announced on Thursday morning. John Gough, Matty Lamb and Conor Purcell all earned the honor for Charlotte, joining the final two members from Middle Tennessee. All three freshmen played in all 11 events and 32 rounds during their rookie seasons in 2016-17.
"What a fantastic honor for these three freshman," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "These guys played every event for us this year. To have three of the five on the team speaks to the future and direction we are headed.
