CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers All-American Trey McRae will be competing in the U.S. Olympic Trials in the high jump next week in Eugene, Oregon.
The qualifying round for the high jump takes place next Friday, July 8 with 26 participants. The Top 12 participants advance to the finals Sunday, July 10. The top three high jumpers make the U.S. Olympic team.
“I have been focusing all year on making the Olympic Trials,” McRae said. “It is amazing. It is mind blowing to coming from not doing track at all to having a chance to go the Olympics and jump for my country.
