CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte track and field teams will split up again this weekend, competing in three different states, traveling to Florida, Texas, and Virginia, as the outdoor season heats up.
Heading the Texas contingency is current Conference USA Athlete of the Week senior All-American Trey McRae, ranked first in the nation in the high jump event after a 2.25m leap last weekend in Raleigh, N.C., where he broke the meet, facility, and school records.
McRae will compete in both that and the long jump this weekend in Austin. Joining him in the jumps is fellow All-American Anthony Campbell and junior Jaylon Holt, who will both compete in the triple jump.
