CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte men’s and women’s track and field squads wrapped up their first outdoor meet of the season, hosting the 49er Classic and taking three first place finishes on the final day.
Senior All-American Trey McRae had another strong day, taking the top spot in the high jump (2.18m) and finishing runner-up in the triple jump (15.2m). With his HJ leap, McRae betters himself for second on the Charlotte All-Time Performances List, and he moves into fifth in the TJ category with a new personal best.
The women’s 4x400m A relay and the men’s 4x100m relay also took first place on the day.
