CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers volleyball teams head out on the Conference USA road for a critical pair of matches at Louisiana Tech and at Marshall this weekend. All three teams will be fighting for the C-USA Tournament bids in two weeks. With two wins by Charlotte and help from other C-USA matches, a tournament bid can be clinched for the first time since 2014.
Charlotte (17-9, 4-6 C-USA) will look to snap a four-game losing streak and put themselves firmly in the driver's seat for a C-USA Tournament bid. Last weekend, the 49ers played seven sets, six to within the minimum two points, but came out of the weekend 0-2 against Southern Miss and Rice.
