CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three Charlotte 49ers women's basketball games will be broadcast, this season, on 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte as part of a previously announced contractual agreement between the station and Charlotte IMG Sports Marketing.
Selected games for the over-the-air broadcasts will be Dec. 21 at Davidson (2 p.m.), Feb. 25 against Middle Tennessee (1 p.m.) and March 1 against Old Dominion (5 p.m.). It marks the first time the station will carry a road Niners' contest, while the other two matchups are both scheduled inside Halton Arena.
"We're thrilled to have 49ers women's basketball back on the air where it belongs in Charlotte," Mario Washington, station general manager, said.
