CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte placed three players in double-figure scoring, as the 49ers earned a 78-67 home victory over UTSA Thursday night. The win kept Charlotte in the hunt for a bye at the upcoming Conference USA Championships presented by MetroPCS.
LEADERS
Sophomore Grace Hunter knocked down 10-of-20 (50.0 percent) from the field and all three of her free throws for a team-best 23 points to go along with seven rebounds and a career-best five blocked shots in 32 minutes.
Her fellow 2016 All-Conference USA Freshman Team selection Laia Raventós added 19 points and five assists, while senior Lefty Webster chipped in 17 points.
