Three-Game Win Streak Snapped at Campbell, 2-0

Campbell scored a pair of second-half goals to top Charlotte, 2-0, and snap the 49ers' season-opening three-game win streak. This was the 49ers first road game of the year.

After a scoreless first half, Campbell's Reagan Baiotto broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute by collecting a loose ball before slotting the game's first goal. The Camels (2-2-1) added insurance in the 82nd minute when Jackie Richards scored on an assist from Jessica Donald.

Campbell owned a 13-8 advantage in shots, including a 7-2 edge in the scoreless first half. Charlotte evened the shot total, 6-6, in the second half but could not cash in on five corner kicks in the frame.
