CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time in team history, the Charlotte volleyball program is represented by three players on the AVCA's South All-Region Team. Tatyana Thomas and Yumi Garcia were two of the 14 on the south squad while Janell Sparks is one of six honorable mentions.
"We are so proud of Tatyana, Yumi and Janell," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "This is the first time in program history that Charlotte 49ers have earned this prestigious honor being recognized on the AVCA South All-Region team."
