IRVING, Texas – Three members of the Charlotte women's soccer program have been named to the InTouch Credit Union All-Conference USA Academic Teams, as announced by the league office Thursday. Junior forwards Julia Grainda and Megan Greene have been tabbed to the first team, while junior midfielder Jamie Fankhauser garnered second-team accolades.
It marks the second career honor for Greene, while it is the first for Grainda and Fankhauser. It also is the third-straight year in which the Niners have had at least three players earn plaudits from the league and extends the 49ers' run of multiple selections every season since returning to Conference USA in 2013.
