KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two members of the Charlotte women's soccer program, who helped lead the 49ers to the Conference USA Championships title and NCAA Tournament berth, were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Central Region Teams as announced Thursday. Junior Martha Thomas was picked on the first team, while senior Katie O'Neill was tabbed to the third team.
For Thomas, a Weston, Florida, native, it marks her third-straight season in which she has earned all-region team honors. She was also named to the first team as a freshman in 2014, while she collected second-team plaudits in 2015.
