Thomas Named League’s Best Offensive Player, Again

IRVING, Texas – Charlotte senior All-America candidate Martha Thomas was voted the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year for the second-straight season, following a vote of the league's head coaches and as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon. Thomas garnered her initial C-USA Offensive Player of the Year award in 2016 before earning Preseason Offensive Player of the Year accolades heading into this fall.

She collects the eighth player of the year or offensive player of the year honor in program history and joins Jill Currie (1999, 2000) and Whitney Weinraub (2008, 2009) as back-to-back and multi-time recipients.
