WOMEN:
This was the first Conference USA Championship and fourth conference title overall, for the women's program.
This is the first championship since the programs three-peat from1992-94, as a member of the Metro Conference.
Charlotte entered the meet unranked in the Southeast Regional, but defeated four teams that rank in the top-15 in their respective regions. Rice is ninth in the South Central, UTEP is 12th in the Mountain, UAB is 14th in the South and Southern Miss.
