Three 49ers shot under par in the first round of the Linger Longer Invitational to lift Charlotte into second place after the opening 18 holes.
"That was a good solid first round for our team," said 49ers head coach Ryan Cabbage. "We were able to make a bunch of birdies which on this golf course requires some real quality shots. We put ourselves in a good position after day one and now we look to go follow that up on Saturday with another good round to stay in contention at the top of the leaderboard.
