CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte cross-country turned in solid performances at the University of Virginia – Panorama Farms Invitational on Saturday morning.
Tom Nobles finished sixth, pacing the men's team to a strong third-place finish, while Caroline Sang claimed the fastest time on the women's side, leading the women to a seventh-place finish.
"The men ran really tough with some of the best teams in the region," head coach Joe Lynn said. "The women really battled today after a rough early part of the race."
The top-five finishers on the men's squad set new personal-best times, beginning with Nobles, who crossed the line in a time of 24 minutes, 6.
