EAST LANSING, Mich. – Playing in just their second-ever tournament as a program, the Charlotte 49ers women's golf team put together a third place showing at the Mary Fossum Invitational that came to an end on Sunday afternoon. Siarra Stout led the Niners, who led the tournament with 186 pars, finished tied for fifth overall in the 10-team, 59-player field.
Stout led all individuals with her 46 pars on the weekend tossing up a final round 75 (+3) on Sunday afternoon. Stout began with eight-straight pars before her first bogey of the day on nine made the turn at one-over 37.
