CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will stay in-state for its next two events, both to be contested this week, as the 49ers continue play during their fall tournament campaign. Four members of the squad head to Chapel Hill for the ITA Carolina Regional presented by Oracle, while another set of five will go to Durham for the NCCU Invitational.
The ITA Carolina Regional presented by Oracle begins Thursday and runs through Monday. Sophomore Tai Martin has earned a spot in the main draw singles.
Three other Niners, senior Victoria Pahlett, sophomore Alexandra Lee and freshman Pierina Imparato will start their play in the qualifying singles flight.
