WICHITA, Kan. – Charlotte Softball splits the series-opening doubleheader with Wichita State to begin the Niners' final conference road series of the regular season. The Shockers took game one with a final score of 7-3 while the Niners won game two, 10-8.
GAME ONE
The Shockers got off to a hot start in game one, scoring three in the first inning, including back-to-back home runs from Ellee Eck and Lauren Lucas. In the third, Wichita State scored again on the long ball, but this time it was Jodie Epperson who hit it out of the park to make it 4-0.
