The Charlotte 49ers recently swept the First Pitch Classic and captured their first regular season tournament title this campaign. Charlotte scored a whopping 26 runs in five games while allowing more than three runs in a game just once. This weekend, the 49ers welcome Robert Morris, La Salle and Fairfield for the Green & White Invitational.
Junior Haley Pace leads the 49ers into the weekend after receiving the first weekly Conference USA Player of the Week honor. The shortstop posted a phenomenal .500 batting average and .577 on base percentage, including two home runs, five runs batted in, eight runs scored, five stolen bases and five walks drawn.
