ORLANDO, Fla. - A tough day on the diamond for Charlotte softball began with an 8-1 defeat to #12 James Madison and ended with a six-inning, 9-0 loss to Boston College at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Friday.
The 49ers move to 13-6 on the year after the two losses while JMU sits at 14-2 and Boston College improves to 10-8.
GAME ONE
Ranked as one of the top teams in the country, JMU got off to a very fast start on Friday morning. The Dukes leapt out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning, highlighted by a bases-clearing triple to center by freshman Odicci Alexander.
