CHARLOTTE – Following weeks of thoughtful reflection, Charlotte Lacrosse Head Coach Clare Short has announced she is stepping away from coaching to pursue more time with her family.
A national search for the next leader of the 49ers is already underway.
"I would like to thank Clare Short for her dedication to building our program here at Charlotte," said Director of Athletics Mike Hill. "It was a monumental undertaking, and thanks to Clare's efforts, the next leader of 49er Lacrosse will inherit a program with a strong foundation and culture primed to compete for championships.
