TEMPE, Ariz. – Seven members of the 10-player Charlotte women’s tennis roster were selected as 2016 ITA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The national organization also recognized the 49ers as an ITA All-Academic Team for their prowess in the classroom.
Representing Charlotte as ITA Scholar-Athletes for this year are Tyler Baker (first time), Briana Bodner (third time), Fleur Holtkamp (second time), Tai Martin (first time), Victoria Pahlett (second time), Megan Smith (second time) and Macy Vonderschmidt (second time). The seven selections are the second most in a single year for the program, trailing the eight established in 2013.
