DALLAS - For the second year in a row, a Charlotte 49er has been named a Conference USA Performer of the Meet after Nick Scudder claimed the Male Track Performer of the Meet award as announced by the conference on Friday afternoon. This is Scudder's second award this week after receiving the program's first ever USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honor on Monday.
Scudder had a monster weekend at the Conference USA Indoor Championships after winning two gold medals in the 3000m and 5000m, achieving Co-High Scorer of the Meet accolades and breaking a meet and school record in the 5000m event as the men's track and field team won their second straight conference title with 177 points.
