LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Charlotte 49ers track and field team totaled 29 personal records on Saturday at the Brant Tolsma Invitational hosted by Liberty, highlighted by a school indoor record broken by sophomore Nick Scudder in the 3000m with a personal best time of 8:02.60 to win the event.
MEN'S RESULTS
The 49ers had a school record broken in the 3000m by almost 12 seconds after Scudder ran a PR of 8:02.60 to win the event and rank 24th in the nation right now. Sophomore Finnegan McBride placed second and would have broken the school record with a PR of 8:10.
