TEMPE, Ariz. – Charlotte sophomore Ruxi Schech earned her fifth-straight national singles ranking, as she was listed at No. 98 in Wednesday's release of the Oracle/ITA listings. She has been among the nation's Top 100 consecutively since March 24.
HOLDING DOWN THE NO. 1 COURT
Schech capped her spring with a 14-5 record, including 13-4 when seeing action at the No. 1 position. Her 14 overall victories among five Niners with double digits this spring. Since March 1, she posted a 7-2 ledger.
The final triumph for the Frankfurt, Germany, native came during the Conference USA Championships Opening Round versus Louisiana Tech, as her straight-set decision was the first of three-straight team singles wins for Charlotte on its way to the 4-0 victory.
