IRVING, Texas – After being the walk-off hero in the win on Saturday, Charlotte Baseball's Dawson Bryce was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon (May 12).
Additionally, pitcher Chase Carson was named an Honorable Mention for the second week in a row.
Bryce had an incredible week at the plate, slashing .368/.400/1.000 for a team-best 1.400 OPS. He led the team with seven hits and 19 total bases, thanks to three doubles and three home runs to be the only Niner with multiple of each.
