STATESBORO, Ga. – The Charlotte 49ers bounced back from a five-set loss on Friday night to win both matches of the weekend-ending "Bash in the Boro" hosted by Georgia Southern. The Niners took care of North Florida 3-0 in straight sets before dispatching host GSU in four.

Charlotte (4-3) wasted little time in grabbing an early lead and didn't trail at any point in the opening set. Jannelle Curtiss got the afternoon started with a pair of early kills before Jocelyn Stoner, Sydney Rowan, Molly Shaw and Kaylyn Torain put down their first kills of the day helping the Niners out to a 6-3 start.
