EARLYSVILLE, Va. – Two-time NCAA track all-America redshirt junior Caroline Sang claimed the NCAA Southeast Regional individual title and an automatic NCAA National quailing spot Friday. She, along with Tom Nobles and Mihret Coulter, took home All-Southeast Region honors.

Sang ran the fastest women's 6,000-meter at a regional in 20 minutes, 5.8 seconds, just under eight seconds off her own school record. She becomes the first 49er to win an individual title at the regionals in school history and now holds three of the four fastest times in program history at that distance.
