CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball has announced the addition of a road game to its schedule, this week, as the 49ers will travel in-state to Buies Creek for a 3 p.m. Friday tip-off with Campbell. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The matchup replaces the cancelation of Thursday's home meeting with Dayton due to COVID concerns with the Flyers program.
Despite being in state, Charlotte and Campbell have not met since 1991 with the 49ers winning the last two games to take a 7-6 series advantage. This year's Camels squad is 2-1 entering Friday's meeting.
